Call for papers

We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the International Conference of Art, Design and Technology, with the theme of ‘Bridging Art and Design with Technology: Explore the New Possibilities in Creativity’. Bringing together researchers, practitioners, artists, and scholars from around the world to explore the intersection of art, design, and technology.

The conference aims to provide a platform for interdisciplinary discussions, cutting-edge research, and creative exchange in the fields of art, design, and technology. We invite original contributions that explore the diverse aspects of this theme, including but not limited to:

• Digital art and interactive media
• Design thinking and technology-driven design
• Virtual and augmented reality in art and design
• Human-computer interaction and user experience design
• Data visualisation and information design
• Creative coding and generative art
• Creative applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning
• Interactive design and participatory art
• Innovative approaches of technology in traditional art and design
• Role of technology in artistic expression and storytelling
• Integration of emerging technologies in art and design
• Social impact and cultural perspectives of art and technology
• Robotics, automation and art installations
• Ethical considerations in technology-driven creativity
• Education and pedagogy in art and design with technology
• Interactive design and participatory art using technology

These topics aim to explore the diverse ways technology shapes the field of art and design, opening up new possibilities for creativity. Researchers, artists, designers, and scholars are encouraged to submit papers that contribute to our understanding of this evolving landscape and inspire innovative approaches to artistic expression.

Submission Guidelines:
Authors are invited to submit their original research papers, case studies, or artistic works related to the conference theme. Submissions should be written in English and follow the paper template provided on the conference website.

Paper Categories:
Full Papers: Original research papers (6-8 pages) presenting significant contributions to the field.
Short Papers: Work-in-progress papers, case studies, or preliminary research findings (4-6 pages).

All submissions will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process by an international panel of experts. Accepted papers and artistic works will be published in the academic publication.

Paper Submission Deadline: 28th June 2024
Notification of Acceptance: 8th July 2024
Camera-Ready Submission: 10th July 2024
Conference Dates: 22nd-25th July 2024
